The BlackVue OBD-II Power Cable is a plug-and-play power solution that connects directly to your vehicle's 16-pin OBD-II diagnostic port. It eliminates the need to splice or tap into your vehicle's interior fuse box while enabling full Parking Mode recording capabilities for compatible BlackVue dashcams.
The cable manages power routing by drawing constant battery power (B+) directly from the vehicle battery while continuously monitoring ignition signaling (ACC High/Low). When you turn off your vehicle's engine, the cable signals the dashcam to transition from Normal Driving Recording to Parking Mode.

Both the BOC-300 and BOC-400 feature a standard 3-pin DC barrel connector (12V–24V compatible) and are 100% compatible with all BlackVue dashcam series supporting 3-wire hardwiring:

Compatibility Note: Older 2-wire dashcam models (such as the DR750S, DR900S, DR650S, and DR750X LTE Plus) do not possess 3-wire ignition-sensing circuitry. These models will shut down immediately when plugged into an OBD-II power cable upon engine shutdown and cannot perform hardwire parking mode.

While the BlackVue OBD-II Power Cable works with the majority of vehicles manufactured since 2010, certain vehicle platforms utilize proprietary ECU power management that cuts power to the diagnostic port during vehicle sleep.
