Managing your BlackVue account details is simple and secure. Whether you want to update your profile information or permanently delete your account, follow the steps below to keep your data accurate and your privacy protected.

Editing Your Account/Profile
You may want to update details like your name, profile photo, or contact information.
How to Edit Your Profile
- Open the BlackVue App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.
- Go to “Account” or Profile
- Tap on the profile icon or “Account” tab at the bottom/menu.
- Select “Edit Profile”
- Options you can typically update:
- Username or nickname
- Profile photo (take a new photo or upload from your phone)
- Account password while logged in

- Save Changes
- Tap “Save” or “Update.” Changes take effect immediately.
Tip: For Cloud-connected accounts, profile edits sync across devices after the next login.
Deleting Your Account
Permanently deleting your BlackVue account will erase your data, subscriptions, and Cloud access. Be sure this is your intention—deleted accounts cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Account
- Login to the App
- Use your current email/ID.
- Go to Account Settings
- Tap on your profile/account section.
- Find “Delete Account”
- This option may be labeled as “Delete Profile,” “Remove Account,” or “Account Termination.”
- Confirm Deletion
- Review the warning about losing data and Cloud recordings.
- Confirm the account deletion and go to your email sent to you to finalize removal of account.
- Account Removal
- Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
Important: You cannot restore your information after deletion. However, if you have any active subscriptions, cancel them before deleting your account.
