Managing your BlackVue account security is important. If you need to reset a forgotten password or simply wish to change it for any reason, follow the instructions below.
Note: Screenshots in this guide are based on the BlackVue app and may vary slightly depending on your camera model or app.
1. Resetting a Forgotten Password
In the mobile app
If you can’t remember your password or can’t log in:

Open the BlackVue/Fleeta App
Launch the app and go to the login screen by clicking "Continue with Email" and "Log in with Email". -
Tap “Forgot password?”
This option appears under the email login field. -
Enter Your Registered Email
Type the email address you used to register your account and press "Send password reset email". -
Check Your Inbox
A password reset email will be sent to your address. If you don’t see it:- Double-check your spelling.
- Look in your spam or junk folder.
- Ensure the email was used during registration.

Follow the Reset Link
Click the link in the email and set a new password. -
Sign In With Your New Password
Return to the app and log in using your updated credentials.
In the Fleeta Web Viewer

Visit the Fleeta Web Viewer Page
- Go to https://app.fleeta.io/ to start.

Tap “Forgot password?”
Click the "Forgot password?" button. -
Enter Your Registered Email
Type the email address you used to register your account and press "Send password reset email". -
Check Your Inbox
A password reset email will be sent to your address. If you don’t see it:- Double-check your spelling.
- Look in your spam or junk folder.
- Ensure the email was used during registration.

Follow the Reset Link
Click the link in the email and set a new password. -
Sign In With Your New Password
Return to the app and log in using your updated credentials.
2. Changing Your Password While Logged In
If you remember your password and want to change it:
In the mobile app

Go to Account Settings
- Open the BlackVue/Fleeta app.
- Tap on “Account” tab.
- Click the > icon on the right side of your profile icon.
- Select “Password Change.”

Enter Current and New Passwords
- Type your current password, then the new password you wish to use.
- Confirm the new password by clicking Change password button.

Save Changes
- Tap “Save” to finalize.
In the Fleeta Web Viewer

Go to Account Settings
- Click your profile icon on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select “Account” then "Change password".

Enter Current and New Passwords
- Type your current password, then the new password you wish to use.
- Confirm the new password by clicking "Change password" button.
Note:
- If you created your account using Google or Apple ID, password changes are managed through your Google/Apple account—not the BlackVue app.
- Only users who registered with “Continue with Email” can reset their password using the BlackVue reset option.
Troubleshooting Tips

If you have trouble accessing your email, or if your email is not recognized, confirm which registration method (Email, Google, Apple ID) you originally used. Each method requires a different password reset process.
