Tapping the Me icon on the app's bottom navigation bar accesses offline files, app preferences, caches, and official support. This panel is also where wireless Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates are managed:
Step-by-Step OTA Firmware Upgrade Guide
Check for Updates: Navigate to the Me panel and select My Device. If a new firmware update is available on our servers, a red notification dot will appear next to your device name.
Download the Firmware: Select your device and click Firmware Update. A pop-up window will display: "New version of firmware detected, download it?" showing the version code (e.g. SAFY9_v3.018) and update notes. Tap OK to download the update package to your phone.
Transfer (Push) to Camera: Keep your app open during the download. Once finished, a prompt will warn: "An available upgrade package is detected. The dashcam will stop recording during the push process. Are you sure to push the upgrade package to dashcam?". Tap OK.
Wait for Update and Restart: The app will start transferring the update package over Wi-Fi. Do not minimize the app or turn off the vehicle's ignition during this process.
Verify Reboot: Once the transfer finishes, a prompt states: "Pushed successfully! The dashcam is restarting and upgrading. Do not disconnect its power supply!". Tap OK. The dashcam will reboot, apply the firmware update, and play its start-up voice prompt to confirm a successful installation.
