Access your dashcam settings by tapping Settings in the upper-right corner of your camera's live-stream interface. Use the menus below to configure features and format your card:

Primary Dashcam Settings

• Installation Guide for Dashcam: Tapping here lets you view helper guides and toggle Show Auxiliary Lines.
• Audio Recording: Tap this switch to toggle the internal passenger cabin microphone ON or OFF.
• Screen Off Time: Set the LCD backlight standby timer to prevent driving distractions. Choose from 30 seconds, 1 minute, or Always On (Default).
• Speaker Volume: Set the voice guide volume. Choose from High, Medium, Low (Default), or OFF.
• Recording Time: Choose your continuous loop-clip segment length: 1 minute (Default), 2 minutes, or 3 minutes.
• Format Micro SD Card: View detailed space use on your storage card. Tap the orange Format button to format the card completely.
• Sync Time: Adjust the camera's (recording) time according to the phone's local time.
• Date Format: Choose between three date formats: YYYY-MM-DD (Default), MM-DD-YYYY, or DD-MM-YYYY.
• Wi-Fi Info: Shows your camera's Wi-FI Name, Password, and MAC Address.
• Factory Reset: Tap this to reset all system settings, including the Wi-Fi password.
• About Device: Shows the Model Number, Current version (firmware), and Software release time.
• Delete Device: Tap this to remove the camera from the list.
• GMT (Time Zone) - For SAFY8 Only: Choose your time zone (Default: GMT-11:00)
• Daylight Saving Time - For SAFY8 Only: Adjust your time according to Daylight Saving Time (Default: OFF)

Advanced System Settings Sub-menu

Tap System Settings to configure advanced camera and sensor settings:

• Wi-Fi Hotspot Option at Startup: Default is ON
• Video Resolution: Choose your sensor output. SAFY9 supports 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160, default), 2K Quad HD, or Full HD. SAFY8 supports 2K Quad HD (default) or Full HD.
• Anti-Flicker Setting: Select your local power frequency to prevent streetlight flicker: choose 60Hz (Default) for the US & Korea, 50Hz for Europe, or 55Hz-JPN for Japan.
• Driving Impact Sensitivity: Adjust G-sensor sensitivity thresholds: select High, Medium (Default), Low, or OFF.
• Auto Power Off: Set an inactivity shutdown timer during parking to prevent car battery drain: select After 5 min, 10 min, 20 min of inactivity, or OFF (Default).
• Speed / Latitude / Longitude Display: Displays speed and GPS coordinates (Default: ON)
• Speed Unit: Toggle speed telemetry between km/h and mph (Default).
• Set Wi-Fi Password: Change your password. Enter your existing password, then enter your new password (a combination of exactly 8 digits and letters; special characters are not allowed) twice to verify.
