How to Check Cloud Connection Status
1. Using the BlackVue App
- Open the BlackVue App and log in to your account.
- Go to the “Cameras” section.
- Each registered camera displays a connection icon:

2. Via Fleeta Web Viewer
- Log in at the official Fleeta Viewer website (exclusive for Fleet Plan subscribers).
- Check your camera list in your user dashboard.
- The same icons above will appear according to the camera's registration status.
How to Update or Restore Cloud Connectivity
1. Ensure Internet Access
- Make sure your dashcam is powered on and the vehicle ignition is ON (for hardwired models).
- For LTE models, confirm SIM is inserted and mobile data is working.
- For models with saved hot spot, confirm the camera is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
2. Reconnect in the App
- In the BlackVue app, select your device from the camera list.
- If the status is “Disconnected,” (
) drag down the screen (Cameras tab) to refresh connection status.
- You may need to re-enter Wi-Fi credentials or scan for available networks.
3. Restart Devices
- Power cycle the dashcam (turn off, wait 10 seconds, turn on).
- Restart your Wi-Fi router or mobile hotspot if in use.
- For LTE, try reinserting the SIM card and checking signal strength.
4. Check and Update Firmware
- Go to More (...) and check if a red dot is beside the Remote Firmware Update option.
- Click that option to proceed to download the latest firmware version.
5. Review Your Subscription Status
- Make sure your Cloud plan is active and your camera slot is valid.
