Connecting Your Dashcam to LTE/Cloud Services using 4G Sim card 

(For models with LTE/Cloud support)

Follow the steps below to set up your dashcam for cloud connectivity using 4G Sim.

1. Preparation

• Ensure the dashcam is powered on and placed near your smartphone.

2. Start the Cloud Setup

• Open the BlackVue app.

• Select your dashcam from the list.

• Tap ‘Cloud Connection’ 

3. Connect to Cloud

• Review the cloud service information.

• Tap ‘Connect to Cloud’ once more to proceed.

4. Connect via Direct Wi-Fi

• Camera will connect to Direct Wifi, make sure that phone's Wi-Fi is turned on. 

  Follow the in-app instructions to connect your phone to the dashcam’s Direct Wi-Fi network.

• The app will automatically detect the dashcam’s connectivity method (LTE or Hotspot).

5. Enter APN Settings

• After SIM card detection, enter your mobile carrier’s APN settings.

• Tap ‘Continue’ to proceed.

 6. Set GPS Permissions

• Grant GPS access when prompted to enable location tracking and speed information.

 7. Finalize Connection

• The setup may take 2–3 minutes.

• If the process fails, reboot the dashcam and try again.

 8. Confirmation

• You will hear “Cloud connected” from the dashcam
  OR

• The cloud icon in the app will turn sky blue.
