FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) allows you to update dashcam firmware wirelessly—no SD card required.
The method depends on the camera type.
Wi-Fi Cameras (Wi-Fi FOTA)
- Available only in the FLEETA app
- The update file is automatically downloaded to the app
- Then transferred to the dashcam via Bluetooth or Direct Wi-Fi
How to Update
- Go to Settings > Remote Firmware Update
- If a new firmware is available, it will download automatically
- Tap “Update Firmware”
- The app will prompt you to connect to the dashcam via Direct Wi-Fi
- The file is sent wirelessly to the dashcam
- A confirmation message appears once the update is complete
Cloud-connected Cameras (Cloud FOTA)
- Available in both the FLEETA app and web viewer

The update is sent directly to the dashcam via cloud — no app download required.
How to Update

Web Viewer
- Go to Settings > Remote Firmware Update
- Tap “Update Firmware”
- The update starts immediately via cloud connection
- A confirmation message appears when finished
You can check firmware changes in the Release Notes before updating.
DMC200 Firmware Update (DMS IR Camera)
The DMC200 supports both Wi-Fi and Cloud FOTA.
To update:
- Go to the Settings of the dashcam it’s connected to
- Update the front camera first, then the DMC200
