Hey, there should be a touch sensor on the left of the camera. If enabled in the settings, waving your hand in front of it will trigger the manual recording (for 1min).

Depending on your data plan for the mobile hotspots there is actually a way to get the location data. While this is not perfect and blackvue most likely won't like anyone to know about the features...

Hmm... that sounds strange. It should use ~5W max. Are yous sure that both are connected and fully charged? It should last ~32hours with your 161,3Wh pack.
