Adjusting audio level...

Hi Folks,

Just a question about the audio level, it seem the microphone in my DR970X is VERY sensitive, it picks up conversations happening outside the car!

The trade off is - if I have music or something on in the car, it just seems to distort the recording.

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity ?
Maybe a spot to strategically put some sticky tape or something ?

  Hello,

  Unfortunately, there’s no way to adjust the microphone sensitivity, you can only enable or disable the Voice Recording feature through the Camera settings on the Blackvue app.

  If the sound is really loud or distorted, there might be an issue with the dashcam. In that case, please contact our customer support team for further assistance.

  I’ll also pass your concern to our R&D team as a suggestion. Hopefully, it will be considered for future firmware updates.
