Cloud connection issues
Sorry to complain on old issues but can't see any relevant answers on previous/recent threads. Using a Huwai (however it's spelt!!) Mifi and Lexar x633 SD card and is constantly connecting then reconnecting until it stops connecting!!! Once I drive home it seems to effectively reset and it all starts again the following day!!
Initially thought it was the SD card due to it not been a Blackvue specific card (despite the card been very highly recommend for Blackvue camera!!!).
Would like some answers before look to purchase a specific Blackvue card at extortionate cost as lead to believe most connection issues with these cameras are due to non standard SD cards!!! (Wish they would tell you this when you buy the camera!!!).
Anya device much appreciated 😊.

Well just to update, I updated to the latest firmware a few days ago and this morning I had 348 connecting/disconnecting notifications overnight!!!
Surely this can't be right, especially for a dash cam at this price point.
Come on Blackvue, get this sorted ASAP!!!1 -
Oh, I am also using the included Blackvue 16 gig SD card with no improvement.
Not to mention the camera now randomly freezes giving you no indication that it has done so!!!
When they work they are great but with all these issues I'm starting to think I should have purchased something different!!1 -
I updated to the new firmware over the weekend and I'm getting the same thing. Constant connect/disconnect from the cloud messages. I had to turn the cloud functionality off entirely.

the issue i have is that my blackvue is struggling to connect to any of the garage spots i have entered even though the wireless signal is more than 70%. I've tested with several different wireless hotspots as well. There is no way to connect the blackvue to any BT hotspots he in the UK either?
renders the GPS function usless unless you have a permanent GSM data connect in your car you can wirelessly connect to. The next hardware revision needs a slot for a sim to allow a 4G connection on the camera.0 -
Mine was working fine until I updated to the newest firmware. I suspect it's something to do with the new "garage hotspot" feature.

In case you guys haven’t been able to figure it out. With the new garage option. Any hotspot that you add. While connected to the cameras WiFi. Has to be made a garage option. Or in other words. Put the check mark on the little square.

Hi Guys Only had my BV 750s 2 ch. for 3 weeks. The first one I had was replaced and refitted by the vendor as the GPS function didn't work. I am also having problems with the cloud settings continuously connecting and disconnecting. I have put this down to a weakfish signal in my garage. I have now bought a wifi hotspot and am still having problems. Should I assume from Johnny Morris's post that a 4G connection will not work as the hotspot I have defaults to 4G although I can change this.? Also can someone explain what Garage option is please. Thanks in anticipation. regards Dave.
