1. Wi-Fi Mode (no login required)
*Note: The camera should be powered on and running.
BlackVue App > Wi-Fi Mode > Camera on the List > Join (Network) > Three Dots in Vertical Stack (Upper Right Corner) > Camera Settings >Event Triggers
2. Cloud Mode (requires log in)
*Note: The camera does not need to be on and running. Any changes saved in the settings will be applied when the camera turns on and get connected to the Cloud.
BlackVue App > Get started > Log In > Camera on the List > Three Dots in Vertical Stack (Upper Right Corner) > Camera Settings > Event Triggers
(Priority Event) Manual Recording
The settings under the Manual Recording are greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).
- Manual Recording can be activated/deactivated in Camera Settings > System > Touch Sensor
- Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Manual Recording)
(b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Manual Recording settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)
(Priority Event) Driving Impact
The Live Event Upload option is greyed out (i.e. cannot be modified) when accessed via the Wi-Fi mode, as in (a).
- Live Event Upload can be activated/deactivated only when the user logs in the BlackVue app and access the camera from the camera list (Camera Settings > Event Triggers > Driving Impact)
(b) shows that the Live Event Upload option can be selected/deselected when Driving Impact settings is accessed in the Cloud Mode (requires log in)
