Following is the table that should help you figure out the GPS module that is compatible with your dashcam.

External GPS module

All models use the G-1E model, except the DR490L-2CH. 
You can spot the difference by looking at the certification sticker: the G-1E (for DR490/470/450/430) is black, with white lettering. The G-1AE (for DR490L-2CH) is white, with black lettering.
